Cape Cod Ponds

Terms and Conditions

A signed estimate is required in order for us to schedule an appointment with you. Upon signing the estimate, please understand that you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Site Access –Please make sure that we have access to the pond.

Electric – Make sure all outlets are GFI protected and working.

Water –Access to a running water spigot will be required.

Minimum charge- $75. Per visit plus travel time if applicable.

** If we do not have access to the pond, running water, or electricity, and we are unable to provide the services agreed upon in the estimate, a service charge of $150.00 will be applied and we will work with you to reschedule the appointment.

***Pond Refill - We will refill the pond with enough water to re-introduce your fish (At least 6” of Water). For Larger ponds YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FINISHING THE FILLING PROCESS AND PLUGGING IN THE WATERFALL PUMP ( The labor costs are based on this assumption to keep your clean out costs to a minimum).

Excessive Debris Removal -If your pond has not been regularly cleaned and/or has been neglected for some time it could require the removal of excessive sludge/leaves/debris. The base clean-out charge covers normal debris removal up to 1-10 lb. bag of debris. Additional chargemay apply if more debris is needed to be taken out and removed from your property.

Fish/Ecosystem- Pond work can be stressful on living things in or around your pond. However, some issues are beyond our control and therefore we cannot held responsible for any loss of fish/plant life.

Pond Surroundings- We do not take any responsibility for any damages that may occur to your pond plants, accents, or surrounding landscape during our visit.

Stream & Pond Leaks- We make every attempt to locate potential leaks during our services. However, a leak may not be noticeable at the time of such service. Additional appointments to address pond leaks will incur additional fees.

General Liability-We absolutely take no responsibility for any issues/problems that cannot be directly related to negligence on the part of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, leaks, equipment failure, electrical issues, fish or plant loss, etc.

Travel Time- $150 Falmouth,Bourne,Province Town. $125 Wellfleet,Truro. $100 Sandwich, Mashpee,Chatham,Orleans, Eastham. $200 Plymouth, Duxbury

Payment Terms

Payment is due before the date of service. Cash, Check, Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express

Removal of Gravel- If there are numerous rocks / small gravel in the bottom of your pond, then you will be charged an $250. hourly rate to remove the rocks and gravel by hand. You must state in advance if you do not wish for this removal of rocks/gravel from the Botton We are not responsible for any leaks in the pond due to removal of gravel and or rocks.You must inform us in advance if you do not wish to have the rocks/gravel removed.
